A Calling To Help
Fueled by faith and compassion, we strive to provide orphaned children with the basic necessities they need to thrive. Clean drinking water flows from wells built with dedication, offering life-saving hydration and preventing waterborne diseases. Safe shelters rise from the ground, offering a secure haven where children can find peace and comfort. Meals, clothes, and essential supplies are distributed with love, ensuring children’s physical needs are met.

To Serve Is to Love
Join us in this mission of hope. Together, let us be the hands and feet of Christ, working tirelessly to ensure that every person in Sudan has the opportunity to experience the love and grace of our Savior.
Pastor Aman's Bio
In 2021, I was preparing for a trip to South Sudan, eager to join some fellow service members and preach in the churches where they serve. I watched a video featuring a young girl who said, ‘You have a place to sleep, but we don’t. We sleep on the ground. You can’t imagine how painful it is until you experience it. You have food; we don’t. You have education; we don’t. We need your help to build a place for us to sleep, to be like you, to have beds like yours. You see us sleeping on the ground, but you don’t know how it hurts us; it’s painful if you try it.’
As I watched this video while sitting on my bed in my room, I thought, ‘It’s true, I have a place to sleep, and they don’t. I have food to eat, and they don’t.’ The girl’s words spoke to me. She was speaking on behalf of orphaned children, saying, ‘Cross over to us and help us.’ My heart broke for them, and I realized that I couldn’t just preach; I had to do something for these children. It became a calling, a mission from God. From that moment on, I began to advocate more for orphaned children and their real needs.
God gave me many verses from the Bible about the orphans’ poor and the needy, especially this one:
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. (Proverbs 31:8)
I went to Juba and visited many places where orphaned children live in extremely challenging conditions, lacking even the basic necessities of life – food, clean drinking water, clothing, education, and healthcare, to name a few. The situation was even worse than what I had seen in the video. I thought, ‘God, this is a huge and frightening issue – children everywhere, and all I have are five loaves of bread and two fish. But what about them?’ I began to pray that God would move the hearts of others to help in various ways.
Indeed, I started to see answers to prayers as some people responded. I went twice in consecutive years, and this year, we plan to visit Juba again and meet the children. From there, we’ll go to Kapoeta, a city in South Sudan near the Kenyan border, where there are around 300 orphaned and homeless children, aged between 4 and 15 years old. They live in dire conditions with little food, often surviving on local grains or beans, sometimes with just one meal a day or none at all. They face severe shortages of clean drinking water and sometimes resort to drinking rainwater that falls on the ground, which is unsafe and contaminated.
They live in an unsafe place, without shelter, exposed to dangers, and some girls are at risk of abduction and forced marriage in exchange for cows. We need to dig a well and build a water tank for drinking, bathing, and agricultural use. We need to construct walls, either with bricks or wire fencing, to keep them safe. We need to build bathrooms for girls and boys and simple sleeping quarters, a kitchen, and a dining hall. We need classrooms for education so that they can have a chance to learn.
Will you pray with us and be part of this great work? May the Lord bless you.
